David Barry - Partner
A family law specialist accredited by the Law Society of New South Wales, David Barry is qualified in both Australian and English law. He has particular expertise in cases with an international element involving jurisdictional conflicts and the enforcement of orders in foreign jurisdictions.
David's cases typically involve high net worth assets and complex financial structures such as trusts, private superannuation funds and valuation issues.
David graduated from the University of Sydney in 2001 and was admitted as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of NSW and a Solicitor of the High Court of Australia in 2002. During 2002 David was the Legal Associate to a Judge of the Full Court, the Appeal Division of the Family Court of Australia.
David first joined Pearson Family Lawyers in January 2004, having previously gained experience in commercial litigation. In October 2009 David returned to Pearson Family Lawyers after having been part of the Legal 500 top rated family law practice at Manches LLP in London.
